Concur is rolling out a new two factor authentication and a new user interface. Learn more about the timing and what this may mean for you and your travelers.
All accounts associated will automatically have the two-factor authentication turned on when Concur starts to roll out its updates.
It’s important to know that if you have a SSO the two-factor authentication will not turn on. We advise you to consult with your data security teams as needed.

What is Two-factor Authentication (2FA)?
Two-factor Authentication is an authentication process that requires two different authentication factors to establish identity. This means the user will have to prove their identity in two different ways to establish access. To increase security, more software websites are requiring their users to use 2FA to sign in. 2FA gives your organization the ability to help safeguard your information.
Important dates:
Starting on October 18, 2023, until November 15, 2023, users can set up 2FA during the sign in process.

Note: A valid email address will not be required during this period. However, we strongly recommend that all admins encourage users to proactively ensure they have a valid email address entered in their profiles.

After November 15, 2023, users who have not set up 2FA will be required to set up 2FA via a link to their email. (Please ensure all users have a valid primary email in their profiles. Multiple profiles cannot have the same primary email. The Primary email must be unique per each profile.)
If no valid email address has been entered, users must reach out to their administrator or Concur support for assistance. There will be the option for admins to opt out of this email requirement for their users. It is essential to exercise caution when opting out, as it disables an extra layer of security for your user accounts.
