New Year, New Routes

New year, new routes to Lisbon (Portugal)

The New Year has just started, and many airlines are updating their routes and adding new destinations to your 2020 travel plans.

Boston (BOS) to Vienna (VIE) – Austrian Airlines
Starting on March 29, this will become the only nonstop service between Boston and Austria. The new seasonal flights will operate from Tuesday to Sunday through October 24, 2020.

Austin (AUS) to Paris (CDG) – Norwegian Air
Starting on May 6, the new nonstop service will be the only direct flight between the two cities, and will operate three times per week: Sundays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Chicago (ORD) to Prague (PRG) – American Airlines
Starting on May 9, AA will offer this new seasonal flight five times per week, from Mondays through Thursdays, and Saturdays, until October 23, 2020.

Boston (BOS) to Calgary (YYC) – WestJet and Air Canada
WestJet: starting on May 14, this nonstop service will operate through October 12, 2020.
Air Canada: starting on June 23, nonstop service will be offered until September 6, 2020.

Montreal (YUL) to Lisbon (LIS) – TAP Air Portugal
Starting on May 14, this daily nonstop service will operate through October 24, 2020. When flying TAP Air Portugal to cities beyond Lisbon, travelers can take advantage of its free stopover program and check out Portugal for a few days on the way to or from their final destination.

Newark (EWR) to Palermo (PMO) – United Airlines
Starting on May 20, this daily seasonal flight will operate through September 30, 2020, and will serve as the only nonstop flight between the U.S. and Sicily.

Philadelphia (PHL) to Casablanca (CMN) – American Airlines
Starting on June 4, AA will become the only U.S. airline to fly to Morocco in 2020. This seasonal nonstop service from Philadelphia to Casablanca will operate through September 8, three times per week: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.

New York (LGA) to Bozeman (BZN) and Kalispell (FCA) – American Airlines
Starting on June 6, these two seasonal nonstop services will operate through September 5, 2020.

San Diego (SAN) to Montreal (YUL) – Air Transat
Starting on June 15, this will become the first-ever nonstop flight between San Diego and Montreal. Service will operate through October 29, three times each week, departing San Diego on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

San Francisco (SFO) to Warsaw (WAW) – LOT Polish Airlines
Starting on August 5, nonstop service will be offered on this route five times per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. Poland will be better connected to the U.S. in 2020 with a total of four new nonstop routes starting this year.

Newark (EWR) to Auckland (AKL) – Air New Zealand
Starting on October 29, Air New Zealand will be part of the top five longest flights in the world with its new nonstop service between Newark and Auckland. This 17 hours and 40 minutes flight will operate three times per week on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Saturdays.
